Mist Filters
MF Filters use impingement/coalescing type oil mist filter media to capture machining oil mists. The unit collects mist at the source and directs it to a three-stage filter for disposal or recovery. Suitable for various oils and capable of handling multiple mist sources, these filters clean the air, reduce housekeeping, and improve safety by lowering the risk of fire.
MF Filters collects mists and fogs at the source by suitable hoods or from the machine enclosure and directs them by ducting to a three-stage filter for disposal or recovery.
Impingement/coalescing type oil mist filter media are used and these filters are suitable for control of mist generated by cutting fluid from machining centres. They are compatible with mineral oils, soluble oils and synthetics, and will accommodate multiple mist sources.
Cleans the air, thus reduces housekeeping and improves the Safety by lowering the risk of Fire.
MF Filters employs the following method to separate the mist:
STAGE 1: Is an expansion chamber were the velocity is dropped down uses a multi-layer SS oil mist filter media, which substantially reduces mist loading to the second stage removal.
STAGE 2: Is the coalescing stage, where smaller droplets are “grown”.
STAGE 3: Uses chevron type eliminators for final mist elimination.
OTHER FEATURES INCLUDE:
A low pressure design that minimizes energy consumption.
Unique long-lasting SS filter media which are easily removed cleaned and restored to service.
Indicating Gauges at the first and second stages are provided to monitor static pressures across the filter elements.
Manual washing of mist pads is considered as standard feature.
Automatic wash-down cycle can be supplied as Optional item.
